The point on which an affair turns. తిరుగుడుబండి a return cart. లెక్కలో తిరుగుడు వచ్చినది or తిరుగుళ్లుపడినవి there is a difficulty, a question, a point to be cleared. తిరుగుడుచీల or తిరుగుడునొక్కు a screw, మర. తిరుగుడు పువ్వు tiruguḍu-puvvu. n. The turning flower, i.e., the sun flower. A sort of gold jewel worn by women. తిరుగుడుత్రాడు a noose, ఉరి, ఉచ్చు. తిరుగుదల tirugudala. n. A turn. మరలుట. వ్యాధి తిరుగుదలగా నున్నది the disease is on the turn. తిరుగుడుపడు to turn, to be giddy పరిభ్రమించు. తిరుగుడుపాటు tiruguḍu-pāṭu. n. Disobedience, rebellion, turning against. తిరగబోయు or తిరుగబోయు tiraga-bōyu. v. a. To spice, or season (a curry.) తిరగబోత or తిరుగబోత tiraga. n. Seasoning, putting spice, &c., to food. తిరగవేయు or తిరుగవేయు tiraga-vēyu v. a. To turn a thing over. తిరుగ or తిరుగా tiruga. adv. Again. తిరుగడ tirugaḍa. (తిరుగు+గడ.) n. A pipe which is turned by a screw. మరపెట్టినగొట్టము. తిరుగలి or తిరగలి tirugali. (తిరుగు+కల్లు.) n. A hand mill. (or తిరుగు+కలి.) Turning భ్రమము. తిరుగుబోతు tirugu-bōtu. n. A rambler, rover, giddy fool. తిరుగుమొరుగు or తిరుగుమరుపు tirugu-morugu. n. An intricacy, refinement. Ila. iii. 16. తిరుగుమొగము tirugu-mogamu. n. One who shows. చూపెడివాడు; a gatekeeper, ద్వారపాలకుడు; a skilful man. నేర్పరి. దర్శనీయము darṣanīyamu. adj. Worthy to be seen, చూడదగిన. దర్శితము darṣitamu. adj. Shown. చూపబడిన. దర్శించు darṣinṭsu. v. a. To see, view. To visit. చూచు. వానికి నూరురూపాయలు దర్శించినాను I lost one hundred rupees to him, i.e., I am a loser of that sum by him. దర్శము darṣamu n. A name for the new moon. అమావాస్య.

(p. 798) paikamu or పయికము paikamu. [Tel.] n. A small copper coin, డబ్బులో నాలుగవవంతు, దమ్మిడి. Cash, money. సొమ్ము, ధనము. ఆ హుండీకి పైకము పుచ్చుకొన్నాము we received the value of the cheque. A multitude, సమూహము.

(p. 811) poralu , పొర్లు, పొరలాడు, పొర్లాడు, పొరలబడు or పొర్లబడు poralu. [Tel.] v. n. To roll over, to roll on the ground; to wallow. To be in excess, to over-flow. To continue, ప్రవర్తిల్లు.' యదూద్వహుండు పుష్పతల్పంబుపై జేరి పొరలుచుండు.' Pal. 233. 'పురహరుడు మున్ను, సాధింపవచ్చిన చందమున నేడు, పొరలినకోపమున పొంగుచున్నాడు.' To wish, long for, like, కోరు, ఇచ్ఛించు.' సుస్థిరభుజశక్తి నైదుపదిసేయరు దత్తినతక్క మట్టి కై, పొరలరధీ శుడీకమలబుద్ధి కళూరిక దక్క.' A. ii. 39. టీ మట్టికై, భూమికై, పొరలరు, అభిలషింపరు. To be crossed or covered, as a cow. ఆవుపొర్లినతర్వాత after the cow was crossed. మాటపొర్లవద్దు do not break your word. ఆ కల్లుకుండ పొర్లిపొర్లి ఉన్నది the toddy pot is overflowing. పొరలు, పొరలిక, పొర్లిక or పొరలాట n. Rolling over or over flowing. పొరలుదండము a bow or salutation made while rolling on the ground. పొరలుపెట్టు Same as పొరలు. పొర్లుకట్ట porlu-kaṭṭa. n. A bank or bund raised to prevent water from overflowing. పొరలించు, పొర్లించు, పొరలుచు or పొరల్చు poralinṭsu. v. a. To roll. To turn over. మాటపొర్లించినాడు he changed his statement or prevaricated.

A doll house, or baby house. R. iii. 35. బొమ్మలాట bommal-āṭa. n. A puppet show, a show of puppets moved by springs. బొమ్మలాటవాడు bommal-āṭa-vāḍu. n. A puppet showman.

(p. 1004) muddatu muḍdalu. [H.] n. A period or time. ముద్దతుకౌలు muddatu-kaulu. n. A temporary or conditional agreement. ముద్దతుక్రయము muddatu-krayamu. n. A foreclosed mortgage, a conditional sale with a penalty attached. ముద్దతుహుండి muddatu-hunḍi. n. A bill payable after a stipulated interval.
