(p. 94) avadhi avadhi. [Skt.] n. Boundary, period, time, conclusion, end. (colloq.) Strait, calamity, misfortune. పొలిమేర, కాలము అవసానము, ఆపద. శరీరపతనావధి as long as one lives. వానికి ఒక అవధి వచ్చినది a misfortune happened to him. అవధిక్రయపత్రము a mortgage bond with the penalty of forfeiting the mortgage after a limited time. అవధీరితము ava-dhīritamu. [Skt.] adj. Disregarded, scorned, despised. అవమానింపబడిన, తిరస్కరింపబడిన అవధూతము adj. Removed, tossed aside, cast away, thrown. తోసివేయబడిన. అవధూతుడు ava-dhūtuḍu. [Skt.] n. A naked mendicant. One who has renounced all worldly feeling and obligation. దిగంబరుడుగా తిరిగే సన్యాసి.

(p. 97) avēlamu a-vēlamu. [Skt.] n. Boundlessness, unlimitedness. మేరలేమి, మితిలేమి. 'విస్మయంబవేలముగాగన్.' Swa. iv. 28.

(p. 98) avyāpakamu a-vyāpakamu. [Skt.] adj. (In Logic.) Not spreading over the whole, not covering the whole. అవ్యాపకత్వము n. Non-comprehensiveness or generalisation. అవ్యాప్తము that which is not pervaded with. అవ్యాప్తి inadequate extent (of a definition) అవ్యాప్యము not covering the whole ground, not extending over the whole matter. అవ్యాప్యవృత్తి a category of limited application, a partial inference.

(p. 129) āsēdhamu āsēdhamu. [Skt.] n. Check, restraint. అడ్డగింత. Arrest: legal restraint; limitation of four kinds, viz.: కాలాసేధము limitation of time, స్ధానాసేధము confinement to a place, ప్రవాసాసేధము prohibition against removal or departure, కర్మాసేధము restriction from employment.

(p. 323) koladi or కొద్ది koladi. [Tel.] n. Extent, measure, height, depth, limit. పరిమితి. Means, mode. Power, glory. శక్యము. A limit, a boundary. ఎల్ల. గడికొల్లలు plundering on the borders. గడినేలలు boundary lands. గడిమెకము a cunning animal which evades the hunter వేటకుచిక్కని మృగము. గడితేరు to be expert, నిపుణుడగు, కడలేరు. plu. గళ్లు. గళ్లుచేయు to mark the boundaries. గడి gaḍi. n.
