(p. 64) apātramu a-pātramu. [Skt.] adj. Unworthy, undeserving, unfit. తగని, అయోగ్యమైన, అర్హముకాని. అపాత్రుడు n. He who is unworthy or undeserving. అయోగ్యుడు, అనర్హుడు. నేను ఆయన దయకు అపాత్రుడనైనాను I forfeited his favour. I incurred his displeasure.

(p. 94) avadhi avadhi. [Skt.] n. Boundary, period, time, conclusion, end. (colloq.) Strait, calamity, misfortune. పొలిమేర, కాలము అవసానము, ఆపద. శరీరపతనావధి as long as one lives. వానికి ఒక అవధి వచ్చినది a misfortune happened to him. అవధిక్రయపత్రము a mortgage bond with the penalty of forfeiting the mortgage after a limited time. అవధీరితము ava-dhīritamu. [Skt.] adj. Disregarded, scorned, despised. అవమానింపబడిన, తిరస్కరింపబడిన అవధూతము adj. Removed, tossed aside, cast away, thrown. తోసివేయబడిన. అవధూతుడు ava-dhūtuḍu. [Skt.] n. A naked mendicant. One who has renounced all worldly feeling and obligation. దిగంబరుడుగా తిరిగే సన్యాసి.

(p. 217) ōḍu ōḍu. [Tel.] n. Defeat, loss, failure, a forfeit, a crack, chink, hole. ఆ పెనము ఓడుగానున్నది that saucepan is cracked. ఓడుబిళ్ల ōḍu-biḷḷa. Pan tiles, such as are used for roofs. T. iv. 202.

(p. 329) kōlupuccu or కోలుపరుచు kōlu-paṭsṭsu. [Tel.] v. a. To lose, ruin, chase away, forfeit. కోలుపుచ్చుకొన్న lost. పోగొట్టుకొనిన. M. IV. ii. 269.

(p. 520) tākaṭṭu tā-kaṭṭu. [Tel. తాకు+కట్టు.] n. A pledge. Something given as security. తాకట్టువాకట్టు అయినది the pledge is forfeited.
