Irritability, touchiness. గర్వము. కొవ్వు దర్పమే యశస్సుగా భావించినారు they prided themselves on their fierceness. దర్పముచేయు to boil over, to be furious or proud. దర్పించు darpinṭsu. v. n. To become proud, to be insolent, గర్వించు, త్రుళ్లు. దర్పితము darpitamu. adj. Proud, arrogant. గర్వముగల. దర్పితుడు darpituḍu. n. A proud man. దర్పోద్ధతి or దర్పోన్నతి darp-ōddhati. n. (p. 824) prakōpamu pra-kōpamu. [Skt.] n. The height or crisis of any affair. ముమ్మరము. జ్వరప్రకోపములో in the height or crisis of the fever. ప్రకోపించు pra-kōpinṭsu. v. n. To be at its crisis. జ్వరము. ప్రకోపించినప్పుడు when the fever was at its height.

(p. 878) bārakamu or భారకము bārakamu. [from Skt. భారము.] n. Weight, heaviness; a burden, load.బరువు. A crisis, ముమ్మరము. జ్వరము నిండా బారకముగానున్నది the fever is at its height or crisis. బారకించు or భారకించు bārakinṭsu. v. n. To become severe, as fever. బారమగు. నాకు ఒళ్లు బారకించులాగున నున్నది I have a prospect of illness. బారకాడి bāra-kāḍi. n. A break, or yoke in which bullocks are trained. క్రొత్త యెద్దును పాతయెడ్లతో కట్టేకాడి. బారవట్టె or వారపట్టె bāra-paṭṭe. n. A chief beam lying on pillars.

(p. 921) bhāramu bhāramu. [Skt.] n. Weight, heaviness, a burden. బరువు. Responsibility, incumbent or bounden duty. Hardship. A certain weight. బారువ. 'కావున నాకుండలములు గైకొనుమివి. సంభావనముతో నిత్యము మహావరసౌవర్ణ భారమిచ్చుచునుండున్.' G. vii. 142. నాకు ఒళ్లు భారముగానున్నది I am unwell. నావంటి దీనులరక్షించే భారము తమదే it rests with you to relieve poor men like me. దూరభారములో నున్నాడు he is afar off. భారకము bhārakamu. n. A crisis. ముమ్మరము. జ్వరము నిండా భారకముగానున్నది the fever is at its height or crisis. భారకర్త bāra-karta. n. One who sustains or is responsible. Thus, దేవుడు మా భారకర్త God is our refuge. భారకించు bhāra-kinṭsu. v. n. To become severe, as fever. నాకు ఒళ్లు భారకించేలాగుననున్నది I have a prospect of illness. భారవాహుడు or భారకుడు one who carries a burden, బరువు మోయువాడు, భారీ bhārī. adj. Big, high, stout, bulky. (p. 963) mallika mallika. [Skt.] n. The Jasmine plant. మల్లెచెట్టు, మల్లెపువ్వు. నవమల్లిక the double jasmine, విరజాజి. Rox. 1. 95. మల్లికాక్షము mallikākshamu. n. A kind of heron or swan with dark legs and light eyes. Ananda. ix. 59. మలినచరణచంచుశ్వేతమాలసము. A white eyed horse, శ్వేతనేత్రాశ్వము. మల్లె or మల్లియ malle. [Tel.] n. The Jasmine plant. మల్లెపూలు jasmine blossoms. ఆడవిమల్లె Jasminum augustifolium, a shrub which grows to the height of ten feet. ఒలాందామల్లె the tuberose jasmine. బొండుమల్లె or బొడ్డుమల్లె a variety with luxuriant flowers. నాగమల్లె a plant, Austicia grandiflorum, prickly pear. ఏటిమల్లె a water creeper, Persicaria mddraspatana: Rox. ii. 287. Other kinds are called కుంపటిమల్లె, పేడమల్లె, సూదిమల్లె. మళ్లెలగుది malle-lagudi. n. A name given to a beautiful dog. మల్లెపురుగు malle-purugu. n. A parasitic worm that is generated in the flesh of cattle. మల్లెలు mallelu. n. Jasmine flowers. Also, pustules produced in the pox. మల్లెతెవులు the disease called Cancer 'విసములయ్యెను బేర్చిన బిసములన్ని మల్లెలయ్యెను జిగిబొండుమల్లెలుంచ.' Ila. iii. 93. మల్లె malle. [Tel.] n. A twig. చువ్వ. మల్లెజంగురు or మల్లెజెగురు malle-janguru. n. A heron. లోహపృష్ఠము, రాపులుగు.

(p. 1003) muduru muduru. [Tel.] v. n. To be mature, to arrive at full growth or maturity, to reach its full height. To increase. పక్వమగు, వర్ధిల్లు. ఎండలు ముదిరినవి the summer or heat is now at its height. కలహము ముదిరినది the battle is raging. To be chronic or established. ఆ రోగము ముదిరినది the disease has become chronic. adj. Mature, ripe, elder, senior, old, వృద్ధము. ముదురాకు a leaf that is ripe and brittle. ముదురుముఖము or ముదురుమూతి the face of mature age, set features. ముదురు అక్షరములు a fixed hand, or a formed or settled text.

(p. 1008) mummaramu mummaramu [Tel.] n. Vehemence, excess. ఉగ్రము. జ్వరముయొక్క ముమ్మరము the crisis of the fever. జ్వరముయొక్క ముమ్మరము తగ్గినది the vehemence of the fever is now past. అతని పని యిప్పుడు నిండా ముమ్మరముగానున్నది his star is now in the ascendant. adj. Vehement, excessive, మిక్కిలి అతిశయమైన, ఉగ్రమైన. ముమ్మరముగా mummaramu-gā. adv. Vehemently, excessively. మిక్కిలి అతిశయముగా, ఉగ్రముగా. ముమ్మరించు mummarinṭsu. v. n. To grow stronger, redouble, exceed, become violent, to come to its height or crisis. ఉగ్రమగు. జ్వరము ముమ్మరించినది the fever reached in height, maximum, or crisis.
