(p. 502) taṭasthamu taṭa-sthamu. [Skt.] adj. Present, near, at hand, proximate, approaching, next, impending, imminent. సమీపమందున్న, ఒనగూడిన. Temporary, occasional, for the time being. తటస్థమగు or తటస్థించు taṭastha-m-agu. v. n. To approach, draw near, or be at hand. to occur, happen, turn up. ఒనగూడు. చేటు తటస్థించియున్నవాడు one who is on the brink of ruin. తటస్థుడు taṭasthuḍu. n. An onlooker, A bystander, a spectator; one who is indifferent or impartial; a just person న్యాయస్థుడు. వాడు మిక్కిలి తటస్థుడు he is very just.

(p. 621) dharmamu or ధర్మువు dharmamu. [Skt.] n. Duty. విధి. Virtue, పుణ్యము. Right, న్యాయము. Alms. A rule, precept or principle. విధి. Nature, character, property, స్వభావము. A function or trade. Custom, usage, propriety, ఆచారము. ధర్మశాస్త్రము or ధర్మసంహిత Law, the science of right. సాత్వికధర్మము the conduct that shows meekness. కులధర్మము the rules of caste. వివాహధర్మము conjugal dues, the behaviour proper for a married pair. పండితధర్మము scholarship, that which is to be expected from a scholar. కాలధర్మము death. అతని దొరతనములో ధర్మము నాలుగు పాదములతో నడిచెను justice was administered with perfect impartiality during his reign. lit: it went on its four feet. ధర్మపత్ని a lawful wife. ధర్మకర్త dharma-karta. n. A judge or arbitrator. A church warden, or manager of a temple. The executor to an estate. ధర్మజ్ఞుడు dharmagnyudu. n. One who knows what is right. ధర్మము నెరిగినవాడు. ధర్మధ్వజి dharma-dhvaji. n. Impartial, free from passion, equable. సమానమైన, తుల్యమైన, సదృశమైన, అవిషమమైన, బేసికాని, మిట్టపల్లములేకుండా ఉండే. సమసంఖ్య a round or even sum. సమదృష్టిగలవాడు one who is equitable or impartial. n. Equality, evenness, తుల్యత, అవిషమత. A year, సంవత్సరము. 'అభూపతియేకషష్టిసమముల్ పూర్ణేందుబింబాస్యతోన్.' Vish. vi. 76. సమము చేయు samamu-chēyu. v. a. To level or equalise. మిట్ట పల్లములేక సరుదు, ఈడుచేయు. సమచతురస్రము sama-chatur-asramu. adj. Four square. చచ్చాకమైన. సమత or సమత్వము samata. n. Equality, similarity, sameness. తుల్యత, సమదర్శి sama-darṣi. n. One who regards all things alike, an impartial man. సర్వభూతములను సమముగా చూచువాడు. సమదృష్టి sama-dṛishṭi. n.
