The shell of a snail, &c. నత్తగొట్టు natta-goṭṭu. n. A sort of bird. పక్షిభేదము. నత్తచిప్ప natta-chippa. n. An oyster shell. నత్తచేపలు natta-chēpalu. n. A small sort of fish. (p. 995) muktamu muktamu. [Skt.] adj. Freed, released, liberated, discharged, sent (as a weapon). ముక్తకవచుడు disarmed, freed from his armour. ముక్తత్వము mukta-tvamu. n. Freedom, release, liberty. విమోచనము. ముక్తపదగ్రస్తము mukta-pada-grastamu. n. Reiteration somewhat similar to caffing verses. అంతాది. ముక్తాఫలము muktā-phalamu. n. A pearl, ముత్యము. ముక్తాఫలములవలెనుండు లిపి a pearly hand in writing, i.e., round, clear, and beautiful. ముక్తాయించు to finish (in music.) ముక్తార్థము a summary, the purport. ముక్తావళి mukt-āvali. n. A pearl necklace. ముత్యాలహారము. ముక్తాస్ఫోటము muktā-sphōṭamu. n. A pearl oyster. శుక్తి. ముత్తెపుచిప్ప. ముక్తి mukti. n. The delivery of the soul from the body, and its exemption from further transmigration, liberation, deliverance, emancipation, మోక్షము. సంసారముక్తి or భవముక్తి release from all earthly bonds or mortal ties. 'మానుగభవముక్తి గలుగు మహిలో.' Vema. 481. ముక్తుడు muktuḍu. n. One who is freed, emancipated or released from the body. మోక్షమును పొందినవాడు.

(p. 1002) muttemu , ముత్తియము or ముత్యము muttemu. [from Skt. మౌక్తికము.] n. A pearl. Any gummy drop resembling a pearl. See ముత్యము. ముత్తెపుబంట muttepu-banṭa. n. Lit: a crop of pearls, an epithet applied to a sugar cane, చెరకు. ముత్తెపురిక్క నెల muttepu-rikka-nela. n. An epithet applied to the month, చైత్రమాసము. ముత్తెపుసవతు muttepu-savatu. n. The lunar mansion called చిత్రానక్షత్రము. ముత్తెసరి mutte-sari. n. A pearl necklace, ముక్తాహారము. A kind of grain, ధాన్యవిశేషము. Any bead or concretion resembling a pearl, such as is found in bamboos. ముత్తెములవంటి లిపి a pearly (i.e., delicate) handwriting. ముత్తెపుచిప్ప muttepu-chippa. n. A pearl oyster, mother of pearl. శుక్తి ముత్తెపుచిప్పలు. a sort of cake. H. i .118.

(p. 1260) śauktikamu ṣauktikamu. [Skt. from శుక్తి.] adj. Made of oyster shell. ముత్యపు చిప్పతోచేసిన. 'శౌక్తికమౌక్తికవిద్రుమద్రుమైలాగరు.' M. II. ii. 117.

(p. 1377) svāti svāti. [Skt.] n. Arcturus, the fifteenth lunar asterism. చిత్తకు అవలలినక్షత్రము, పదిహేనో నక్షత్రము. స్వాతికర్తి the fifteenth counstellation in which the sun happens to be for thirteen days in the month of October or November. స్వాతి చిప్పలు the oysters that gaps expecting drops of rain in Swāti. తమ రాక కొరకు స్వాతిచిప్పలవలె నోరు తెరచుకొని యున్నాము we look out with thirsty expectation for your arrival. స్వాతికొంగలు a kind of cranes or storks which emigrate in this month. స్వాతివాన genial showers supposed to impregnate oysters with pearls.
