One who is sinless or harmless. నిష్ప్రయోజనము nish-prayōjanamu. adj. Useless. ప్రయోజనములేని. నిష్ఫలము nish-phalamu. adj. Fruitless, vain. ఫలములేని.

Ash, a dunghill. పీనుగుపెంటలు heaps of corpses. పెంటకట్టు to manure land, to dung a field by penning sheep or goats in it. పెంటకై మందకట్టు, గెత్తముపెట్టు, మందఆపు. పెంటపట్టు or పెంట penṭa-paḷḷu. n. An enclosure in which a herd of cattle or a flock of sheep are kept, పసులులోనగు వానిదొడ్డి. Also, a suburb or village, పేట; as రోళ్లపెంట, తుమ్ములపెంట, గొల్లపెంట. పెంటి penṭi. n. A female of a bird, animal or plant. పశుపక్ష్యాదులలో నాడుది. adj. Female: smaller. పెంటికోడి a hen. పెంటి అల. See పోతు. పెంటివిద్య feminine accomplishments. పెంటితాడు the female palm tree, ఆడుతాటిచెట్టు. పెంటిక or పెంట్రిక penṭika. [Tel.] n. The dung of sheep, goats, hares, deer, or rats, &c.

(p. 936) manda manda. [Tel.] n. A flock or herd of cattle. పశుసమూహము. A place where the flocks or herds are kept outside a village, ఊరికిబయట పశువులుండుచోటు. A hamlet, inhabited by herdsmen, గొల్లపల్లె. కుక్కల మంద a pack of dogs. మందకట్టు or మందకట్టుబాటు the bye-laws of shepherds. గొల్లలు ఏర్పరచుకొన్న ఏర్పాటు. ఆ చేలకు మందకట్టిరి they manured the field by penning sheep or goats on it. మందగొను manda-gonu. v. n. To come together in a crowd, మందగాకూడు. మందపిచ్చిక manda-pichchika. n. The name of a little white breasted bird with a black-head. శిరమందపిచ్చిక a species with a yellow breast. మందప్రోయాలు manda-prōyālu. n. A shepherdness; గొల్లది.

(p. 1389) hīnamu hīnamu. [Skt.] adj. Bad, low, mean, vile, base. Left, abandoned. తుచ్ఛమైన, నీచమైన, వర్జితమైన, విడువదగిన, రహితమైన, లేని. In compound words it denotes Bereft of, without, destitute or deprived of, free from. హీనవృత్తి a mean occupation. అతడు హీనదశలోనున్నాడు he is in low circumstances. హీనస్వరము a low voice. హీనజాతియైన degraded, outcast. హీనజాతివాడు an outcast. 'హీనప్రజ్ఞుడు.' M. XII. iii. 328. హీనత, హీనత్వము or హైన్యము hīnata. n. Lowness, meanness, baseness. Want, defect, నీచత్వము, అల్పత్వము, లోపము, లేమి. బలహీనత weakness, debility. బుద్ధిహీనత foolishness. 'హీనస్థానమున విభవహీననత నిట్లుండి.' M. XII. iv. 414. 'ఆచారహీనత యతిలోభము.' M. XIII. iv. 305. హీనరాశి hīna-rāṣi. n. The lowest part of a rick or heap. హీనవాది hīna-vādi. n. The loser in an argument or law suit. ఓడినవాడు. వారు హీనవాదులయిరి they came off losers. హీనుడు hīnuḍu. n. A low, mean or base man. (In composition) he who is without, destitute of, or deprived of. అల్పుడు, నీచుడు, రహితుడు. అంగహీనుడు he who is defective in a limb, he who is crippled. వస్త్రహీనుడు he who is without clothes. కులహీనుడు a man of low caste. బుద్ధిహీనుడు he who is without wisdom. రూపహీనుడు he who is devoid of beauty. ధనహీనుడు. a penniless man, a poor man. లజ్జాహీనుడు he who is without shame.
