To imagine or figure to oneself. బావభవుడు bhāvabhavuḍu. n. One who exists (భవ.) in the heart (భావ): i.e., Manmadha. భావార్థము bhāv-ārthamu. n. Implication, inuendo, a sense not expressed, an affirmative sense. The affirmative form of the verb. భావ్యము bhāvyamu. adj. What must, will, or ought to be, కాదగినది. likely, probable, befitting ఆ యింటి౛ోలికి పోవడమునకు మీకు భావ్యముకాదు you must not have anything to do with that house. భావ్యుడు bhāvyuḍu. n. One on whom they meditate.

(p. 879) bārī or బారి bārī. [Tel.] n. An elephant's tether, ఏనుగు కాలుకు కట్టెడుగొలుసు.

(p. 879) bāri bāri. [Tel.] n. Annoyance, trouble. ఉపద్రవము, తొందర, వ్యధ, హింస, నిర్బంధము. The slope at the side of a great well for bullocks to run down in drawing up water, by a rope running over a pulley. కపిలెయెద్దులకు నిర్బంధముగా నేర్పరిచినదారి. An elephant's tether. ఏనుగుకాలు కట్టెడు గొలుసు. బారివిడుచు to gallop, పరుగెత్తించు. బారిగొర్రె a sheep let go at a feast to be run for, as a victim or prize. 'గోముననిన్నాళ్లుకొడుకనిన్ బ్రోచి, గోమలికినిబారిగొరియగానొసగ, వలసెబోమల్లెపూవంటిరుమాలు, దొంగింపవెండ్రుకల్ తూగిచిందాడ, నించువిల్తునిబారినీగగానేల.' Sār. D. v. 295. why sacrifice yourself to love? మన్మథుని బారిపడినాడు he fell a victim to love. పులిబారికి ప్పినలేడికైవడిన్ like a fawn escaping from a tiger. బారి or భారి bāri. adj. Great, large, big. బారివాండ్లు well to do people, rich folks.

(p. 863) baṭṭinakōla baṭtina-kōla. [Tel.] n. A stick with the aid of which bags of corn are lifted and placed on the backs of oxen.

(p. 903) boṇḍamu, boṇḍāmu, boṇḍalamu or బొండ్లము bonḍamu. [Tel.] n. A cocoanut with the husk on. 'ఎళనీటిబొండలంబులు బోలె మొదడెల్లజుర్రివైచినడొల్లు పుర్రెగములు.' A. vi. 17.

(p. 895) būraga , బూరుగ, బూరుగు or బూరువు būraga. [Tel.] n. The silk cotton tree. Bombax heptaphylla, Rox. iii. 167. శాల్మలి. Its wood is like the poplar or sallow proverbially large and useless. వాడు వట్టి బూరగమాను he is a mere log, he is a stupid booby. One species is called కుక్కబూరగ; another is దుంకిబూరగచెట్టు. Briedelia scandens Rox. iii. 737. బూరగదూది the cotton found in these pods, which steeped in nitre, is used for tinder. ముండ్లబూరగమాను. Bombax malabaricum (Wight, plate 297 and Watts.) బూరుగు దీవి the name of an island, శాల్మలద్వీపము.
