Theological criticism. The name of one of the six great Indian philosophical systems, పూర్వ మీమాంస is a system of ritualism. ఉత్తరమీమాంస is a system practically the same as the వేదాంతము, జ్ఞానకాండ. పుత్రీకరణమీమాంస is a 'treatise' (or essay) on adopting a daughter. మీమాంసచేయు to dispute, argue. మీ యిద్దరికి ఇందును గురించి చాలా మీమాంసజరిగినది we had a great discussion about this matter. మీమాంసకుడు mīmāmsakuḍu. n. One who knows the Mīmānsa system of philosophy, మీమాంస శాస్త్రము తెలిసినవాడు.

A pattern or diagram (రంగవల్లి) drawn with lines of flour or coloured powder. ముత్తియపుముగ్గు a pattern made in seed pearl. ముగ్గుచెరువు to spoil one's plans, to break the spell. ముగ్గురాయి a limestone, a pebble. ముగ్గువేయు to set a pattern. ముగ్గులువేయు to perform certain magic rites, seating the patient on a magic square drawn on the floor.

A stubborn wretch. మూర్ఖుడు. మొండిచేయి, మొండాడు or మొండాటలాడు monḍi-chēyu. v. n. To be unruly; to oppose. ఆ గుర్రము మొండిచేస్తున్నది the horse is stubborn. మొండితనము monḍi-tanamu. n. Stubbornness, obstinacy. మూర్ఖత్వము. మొండిపారిన monḍi-pārina. adj. Callous. కాయకాచిన. మొండిపురుగు monḍi-purugu. n. The 'stumpy' snake, or Amphisbœna, which looks as if the tail was lopped off. మొండు Another form of మొండి. మొండెము or మొండియము monḍemu. n. A stump. Dab. 69. ముష్టికాయ mushṭi-kāya. n. The Nux vomica or poison unut. ముష్టికాయముచ్చు mushṭi-kāya-muṭsṭsu.n. The Hoopoo: lit. The poison nut eater. ముష్టింపచుడు mushṭi-patsuḍu. n. (p. 944) maḍagu or మడుగు maḍagu. [Tel.] v. n. To bend, to be folded, వంగు, మడతపడు. To turn, మరలు, తిరుగు. మడతొక్కు maḍu-tokku. (పడగన్ + తొక్కు.) v. a. To pile palm leaves and then trample them flat. మడచు or మడుచు maḍaṭsu. v. a. To fold, to plait, to bend. To slay. To abolish. 'ఇహపరాదులకును ఇది సాధనంబని, వ్రాసిచదివి విన్నవారికైన, మధ్య కర్మములను మహిమతో మడచును పరులకైన ముక్తిపదమువేమ.' Vēma 1398. మడత maḍata. n. A fold, plait, crease. A kind of cake. 'పేణీలు నీరువత్తిగలు మడతలుపప్పులూరెలు.' H. i. 117. మడతకత్తి a clasp knife. మడతతడిక a folding screen. మడతతీయు maḍata-tīyu. v. a. To unfold. మడతపెట్టు or మడతవేయు maḍata-peṭṭu. v. a.
