One who wears the lingam or phallus. లింగమును కట్టుకొనియుండువాడు. లింగపొట్ల linga-poṭla. n. A kind of snake gourd. లింగాకారవు విత్తులుగల ఒకదినుసు పొట్ల. సిధ్రకము. లింగబలిజలు linga-balijalu. n. Plu. People of the బలిజ caste, who wear the lingam in a case hung round their necks. లింగవంతులైన బలుజవాండ్రు. లింగవృత్తి. లింగవృత్తుడు or లింగి linga-vritti. n. A religious hypocrite, one who assumes the dress, &c., of an ascetic in order to get a livelihood. ధర్మధ్వజి, పొట్టపోసికొనుటకు జటలు రుద్రాక్షలు ధరించువాడు.

Former, previous, last. మునుపటి, ముందటి. లోగటిదినము the day before. లోగడి విక్రమనామ సంవత్సరమందు in the year Vikrama before the last.

(p. 1128) vanaru vanaru. [Tel.] v. n. To grieve, pine, sorrow. దుఃఖపడు, శోకించు. విలపించు, దీనాలాపములాడు. వనరు, వనపు or వనట vanaru. n. Grief, pining. మనోదుఃఖ రూపమైనవిచారము, దుఃఖము, శోకము, వగపు. 'అనయంబునువనటమునిగి హాహారవముల్ విను వీధిముట్టరోదనమొనరించి.' M. XV. ii. 183.

(p. 1109) lēpu lēpu. [Tel. from లేచు.] v. a. To cause to rise, to raise, లేవజేయు. To rouse, awake, stir up. నిద్రలేపు to arouse from sleep దుమ్ములేపు to raise dust. అడ్డముగా ఒకగోడ లేపినాడు he raised a wall across. వాణ్ని ఆ యింటిలోనుండి లేపు turn him out of the house. లేపించు lēpinṭsu. v. a. To remove, to turn out, వెళ్లగొట్టు, నివృత్తిచేయు. వారిని ఆ యింటిలోనుంచి లేపించినాడు he turned them out of the house. లేపు. n. A bed. మెత్త, పరుపు. 'చిల్కలకోళ్లనందమౌ, సకినెల పట్టెమంచమున చాయనగామతివాసుపైదురం, గికమొకమాలులేపున నొగింశయనించెమనోభవన్యధన్.' H. i. 73. A mane, ౛ూలు.

(p. 1114) lōla lōla. [Skt.] n. A crone, beldame, wretch. లోల or లోలము lōla. adj. Trembling, wavering moving, shaking, tremulous, unsteady. చంచలము, కదులునట్టి. Wishing very much, desiring greatly, greedy. ఆశగల, మిక్కిలి ఇచ్ఛగల. లోలత్వము or లౌల్యము lōlatvamu. n. Wish, desire. తృష్ణ, ఆశ. Shaking, moving, చాంచల్యము. 'వివేకికేక జనియించున్ లౌల్యమిందున్.' A. iii. 68. 'టీ లౌల్యము, తృష్ణ. 'మెల్లన నడవందొడంగు ఘనలౌల్యపు చూపుల చూచు.' H. ii. 113. లోలలోచన or లోలాక్షి lōla-lōchana. n. A girl with roll ing eyes or a swimming glance, చంచలాక్షి, లోలుడు lōluḍu. n.
