(p. 1276) sandarbhamu sandarbhamu. [Skt.] n. Stringing beads, weaving garlands, etc. Meeting, connection, coherence. Covenience, opportunity, occurence, context, కూర్చడము, గుచ్చడము, కట్టడము, సంధించడము, క్రమము, ఆనుపూర్వి, అనుకూలము, సమయము, సంభవించడము. 'ప్రయాణసందర్భములు డెందంబుల సందడింప.' Vish. vii. 148. దీనికి దానికి సందర్భము లేదు, లేక ఒకటికొకటి సందర్భము లేకుండా ఉన్నది they disagree, they do not agree. అది ఈ సందర్భములో జరగదు it cannot be done at this juncture. పూర్వోత్తర సందర్భము ఎరుగక మాట్లాడుచున్నాడు he talks without knowing the circumstances. ఇప్పుడు సందర్భము కాదు it is not convenient now. సందర్భించు sandarbhinṭsu. v. n. To agree, tally, to be convenient, to be opportune, to occur, happen, అనుకూలించు, ఇముడు, సంభవించు, ప్రాప్తమగు.

(p. 1270) saṅkulamu sankulamu. [Skt.] adj. Spread, వ్యాపించిన. Crowded, perplexed, confused, agitated, ఎడములేక నిండిన, ఒకటితోనొకటి కలిసిన.

(p. 1298) sabbu sabbu. [Eng. 'Soap.'] n. Soap. చౌకారము, జిడ్డునుపోగొట్టు ఒక విధమైన చవుటి కారము.

(p. 1278) sandhi sandhi. [Skt.] n. Connection, union combination, junction, coalescence. కూడిక, చేరడము, కలియడము. A joint of the limbs, కీలు. Pacification, peacemaking, conciliation, peace, a treaty. అనుకూలము, సమాధానము. The coalescence of letters in accordance with the laws of euphony. అచ్సంధి the union of vowels. హల్సంధి the union of consonants. ఈయన వారికి సంధి చేసినాడు he made them friends. 'బిట్టుల్కి సంధులు ప్రిదలిగిర్రనుచు.' BD. iv. 359. కుసంధి a bad union. సంధివిగ్రహము peace and war. సంధివిగ్రహాధికారము a war ministry, the duty of a war minister. సంధిబంధనము a ligament. సంధించు san-dhinṭsu. v. a. To cause to meet, to bring together, join, unite. కలుపు, చేర్చు, కూర్చు. సంధించు or సంధిల్లు. v. n. To be joined to or united with, కూడు. సంధితము sandhitamu. adj. Joined, united, connected, bound, చేర్చబడిన, కూర్చబడిన కట్టబడిన. సంధిత్స sandhitsa. n. The desire of joining, an inclination to unite. చేర్చవలెననేయిచ్ఛ. సంధిలు or సంధిల్లు sandhilu. v. n. To happen, occur; to meet. ప్రాప్తమగు, ఎదురుపడు, కలుగు, వచ్చు. 'భక్తిగౌరవము విశ్వాసంబు సంధిల్లగా.' T. ii. 55. 'అచలాత్మజమాటకు లేత నవ్వు సంధిల్ల.' Swa. pref. 2. సంధుడు or సంధురాలు sandhuḍu. n. One who is united with. These words are used in compounds; thus సత్యసంధుడు, సత్యసంధురాలు. a truthful or veracious man or woman.

(p. 1317) sahiñcu sahinṭsu. [Skt.] v. n. To please, be agreeable. ఇష్టమగు. దానికి కూడు సహింపదు food is loathesome to her. అది నాకు సహించదు I do not like it. అది నాకు సహించకుండా to prevent my liking it. v. a. To bear, suffer, tolerate, sustain, endure. తాళు, ఓర్చు, పడు.

Pleasure, satisfaction, gladness, joy, delight. సంతోషము, హర్షము, ఆహ్లాదము. సంతుష్టుడు san-tushṭuḍu. n. He who is delighted, or satisfied. హర్షితుడు.

Left, left hand. వామము, ఎడమ. అపసవ్యము the right. సవ్యకరము the left hand. ౛ందెమును సవ్యముగా వేసుకొని యుండినాడు he wore the Brahminical thread on the proper shoulder, i.e., the left shoulder. ౛ందెమును అపసవ్యముగా వేసుకొని యుండినాడు he wore the thread on the wrong shoulder i.e., the right shoulder. నక్తమచరుండుదంచితగతి సవ్యదిశకొత్తతరుమనపసవ్యగతింజాళెంబునహయంబు బోనిచ్చుచు.'
