Young, little. చిన్న. n. A bit, piece, fragment. Youth, childhood. A young one, a child, a boy. శిశువు. చిన్నది. చిరుత చూపుతో చూచి to look unkindly. చిరుతలు chirutalu. n. Dazzling, radiance, swimming of the eyes: మిరుమిట్లు. నా కన్నులకు చిరుతలు కమ్మనివి or చిరుతలు పారినవి my eyes are dazzled. చిరుత, చిరుతపులి or చిరుతగండు. n. A hunting leopard, commonly called a Cheeta. Cyṇœlurus jubalus. The leopard or Panther, Felis pardus. (F.B.I.). చిరుతిండి or చిరుదిండి chiru-tinḍi. n. In some compounds it may be rendered supernatural. జ్ఞానకాండము gnyāna-kānḍamu. n. The doctrinal portion of the Vedas which contains the esoteric teaching relating to the spiritual knowleldge. The doctrine of Faith as opposed to that of Works. జ్ఞానదృష్టి gnyāna-dṛshṭi. n. Spiritual vision, supernatural intelligence, the prophetic eye: second sight. Clairvoyance. జ్ఞాననిద్ర gnyāna-nidra. n. A deep unnatural sleep, such as occurs in Mesmerism. Ecstasy. A metaphysical delirium which suspends the senses. యోగనిద్ర. జ్ఞానమార్గము gnyāna-mārgamu. n. The path of wisdom; the doctrine that salvation is to be obtained by means of meditation on, and the consequent union with the Supreme Spirit. జ్ఞానశరీరము gnyāna-ṣarīramu. n. A supernatural sense, such as the power of perceiving spirits. See Tantra Rajam. XVII. 4. జ్ఙానేంద్రియములు senses of perception or knowledge as opposed to కర్మేంద్రియములు senses of action. The five senses of man as త్వక్కు Touch, చక్షువు Sight, శ్రోత్రము Hearing, జిహ్వ Taste and ఘ్రాణము Smell.

(p. 473) zambu or ౛మ్ము ḍzambu. [Tel.] n. A bulrush: sedge. ౛మ్ముగూడ or జంబుగూడు a cope made of this, worn by fisherman and other against rain. ౛ంబేరు ḍzamb-ēru. [౛ంబు+ఏరు.] n. The river జంబువు. A river of gold said to flow from the Mountain Mēru.
