ప్రసాదము : (p. 841) prasādamu pra-sādamu. [Skt.] n. Clearness, నైర్మల్యము. Composure of mind. స్వాస్థ్యము. Favour, kindness, grace, అనుగ్రహము. Food presented to a god or blest by a priest and then distributed in a temple. The remains of an offering thus presented. భగవంతుడులోనగువారిచే భక్తపరిశిష్టమైన అన్నము మొదలగునది. మహాప్రసాదము an exclamation implying, 'Your pleasure!' ' Thy will is our law.' ప్రసాదించు prasād-inṭsu. v. a. To favour. అనుగ్రహించియిచ్చు. 'సదములభక్తి ప్రసాదింపు నాకు' bestow faith upon me.

Musk. పునుగుచట్టము. పిల్లడుగుచెట్టు (పిల్లి+అడుగు+చెట్టు.) pill-aḍugu-cheṭṭu n. Cowach, a certain plant కపికచ్ఛూ, ఎగ్గోగిల. Rox. iii. 283. పిల్లిమీసర గడ్డ pilli-mīsara-gaḍḍa. n. Cat's whiskers, a sort of plant. Rasica. i.pref.

(p. 771) puruḍu puruḍu. [Tel.] n. Parturition, child birth. Ceremonial uncleanness for ten days after the birth of a child, జాతాశాచము. పురుడుపుచ్చు to put away a woman's uncleanness, వురిటిల్లు or వురుటిల్లు the house wherein a birth has happened, ప్రసవగృహము. నెలవురుడు the lesser degree of uncleanness, extending from the 10th to the 30th day. పురిటి పురుగు a reptile, imagined to injure new born children. ఆమె పురుడుపోసినాను I got her through her confinement, I attended on her in her childbed. 'పురిటిజింకలు అనగా వేసి' S. i 176. పదిదినములైనా కాని జింకపిల్లలు. పురిటాలు, పురుటాలు or పురుటియాలు puriṭ-ālu. n. A woman in childbed. బాలెంతరాలు.

(p. 792) peruku or పెర్కు peruku. [Tel.] v. a. To tear out, uproot, pluck up by the roots, to pull out. పీకు, పెల్లగించు. To carry, మోయు. To load goods. సామానులు బండ్లు పడవలు వగైరాలపైని ఎక్కించుట. నాలుక పెరుక్కొనిచచ్చెను he tore out his tongue and so killed himself.
