The style of an author: the chief distinctions of which are కదళీపాకము the plantain style, which is easily comprehended, the plantain being quite soft and without stones: ద్రాక్షాపాకము or grape style, which is very superior and more difficult, to understand, and నారికేళపాకము or cocoanut style, which is puzzling and dry, requiring time and consideration to digest it. దేహపాకము the constitution of the body. ఆమెకు పాకశుద్ధికద్దు she is a good cook. లేహ్యపాకము the concoction or preparation of medicine. పాకగేహము pāka-gēhamu. n. (In Telugu), Poison. నా జీవనములో పాషాణము వేయుదువా do you wish to throw a stone (or poison) into my food? శంకుపాషాణము or తెల్లపాషాణము white arsenic, Arsenicum album, (Watts.) There are four drugs known in the shops by these names: ఉల్లిపాషాణము corrosive sublimate, నెల్లిపాషాణము, దొడ్డిపాషాణము and గౌరీపాషాణము పాషాణత్వము pāshāṇatvamu. n. Stoneness, the being a stone, పాషాణదారణము pāshāṇa-dāraṇamu. n. A stone chisel, కాసె ఉలి. పాషాణభేది pāshāṇa-bhēdi. n. A stone cutter, a hewer of stone. (p. 747) pālu pālu. [Tel.] n. Milk. Milky juice or sap. చనుబాలు or చన్నుపాలు woman's milk, human milk. చెరుకుపాలు the juice of the sugar cane. టెంకాయపాలు the white juice expressed from the cocoanut kernel by pounding. (టెంకాయనీళ్లు is the water in the cocoanut.) మర్రిపాలు the milky juice of the banyan tree. పాలవంటివారు, పాల వంటి కులము men (or a tribe) like milk, i.e., candid, simple, pure, unspotted, blameless, honourable. పాలవంటి మనసు a pure mind, a simple heart. పాలుకారేముఖము a milk-distilling face, i.e., a face radiant with loveliness. పాల్గారుచెక్కుటద్దములు radiantly polished cheeks, beaming with beauty. పాలకడలి, పాల్కడలి, పాలకుప్ప, పాలమున్నీరు, పాలవాగు or పాలవెల్లి pāla-kaḍali n. A doll or puppet, an image carved on pillars, &c. బొమ్మ, నరమృగాదిరూపము. పాంచాలుడు pānchāluḍu. n. A member of any one of the five castes of artificers, viz., the carpenters, weavers, barbers, washermen, painters. వడ్లవాడు, సాలెవాడు, మంగలవాడు, చాకలవాడు, ముచ్చివాడు, ఈ అయిదు జాతులందు దేనిలోనైనను చేరినవాడు.
